AGM and Presentation

AGM and Presentation coming up on Thursday. I know AGM's are not everyones cup of tea but we don't waste time and this one will be followed by a presentation entitled 'The Herring Lassies'

The presentation will be given by Stanley Bruce, Chairman of Banffshire Maritime & Hertitage Association. The presentation consists of a slideshow with many photo's of the girls at work that provides a real insight into the hard life they faced.

The slideshow compliments the book of the same title by local author Rosemary Sanderson. Rosemary will also be at the meeting so if you have a copy of the book, bring it along, I know she'll be happy to sign it for you
