Harbour Layout

Here’s an alternative layout for the harbour. Nothing is cast in concrete yet. The Group will always look at new ideas. This particular layout is the result of a design study by a firm that may wish to tender when the time comes. The south to north feature for the pontoons is considered to be a good alternative to the originally proposed east to west, however this is open to debate and that’s probably some way off yet. One item that will not be negotiable is the placement of access ramps to the pontoons. These are a requirement to enable access for most ages and abilities, let’s face it not everyone can or wants to climb up and down vertical ladders although these are likely to be in place to service some individual, beam-on, moorings.
